Precipitation in qt tank

I mixed some salt in my mixing buckets for 36 hours then transferred to a new qt tank but there's some precipitation sitting at the bottom of the tank. Is this safe for the fish? Hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question but just want to a make sure cause it looks like a brown powder sitting at the bottom of the tank
