Preditory snails

Is it safe to assume, if I have several small snails crawling all over my zoos at night, that they are predatory? I do not have a macro lens so a description will be all I can provide. They are very small at about 2mm, white with evenly space dark dots across the top of the conical shell. The dots are 3 to 4 across in a line. My zoos just are not acting quit right, not horrible, not dying, just not quite right. Most individuals look fine, a few are mushroomed and deflated. There are no other signs of predatory activity.

I fresh water dipped every colony about 2 months ago and nuked my flat worms.

try to keep an eye on them. do the small snails look like any of the other snails in your tank. i have turbos and ceriths that both have made babies and sometimes the small ceriths look like pyram snails. if they don't look like anything you intentionally put in the tank then try to get them out asap.

I don't have any other conical snails in the tank, no turbos or ceriths, just the flat ones (can't product the name). I had 2 ceriths about 4 months ago, both starved. What can I say, I just can't grow algea.
