So funny story that really gave me a hectic past couple of days. Last November I decided to take advantage of some of the Black Friday specials. I was purchasing items from three different vendors since they all do not carry the same items and there are price differences so I shop for the best price.
I purchased two Eheim canister filters from Marine Depot. But they did not have the ones I wanted in stock and Premiums Aquatics had the same ones in stock. So I cancelled the order with MD and purchased the ones from PA instead. Well those filters sat in a corner ever since. So this weekend I finally was at the point in my build I wanted to get these filters going. One problem though one of the filters was missing some parts.
Since I had purchased so many items for my build who I got what from was kind of a blur for me. So I Started searching and I found the order for the filters from MD. I called them about the filter Saturday and they were going to take care of the issue for me. I was so happy I made this post:

So everything is fine right? Well no it wasn't I got a call from Walter at MD and he told me I had canceled that order from MD and these filters did not come from MD. Well I still appreciate the effort on MD's part but I can't really expect them to fix a problem with a filter I did not purchase from them.
Fortunately I save everything. Every purchase I make goes in a folder in Outlook just in case I need to do what I now needed to do. Go through old purchase orders and figure out who I got these filters from.
Turns out I got them from PA. I emailed Michelle (I have bought way too many items from all of these vendors as I am now getting to know who works where by name) and between her and Jeremy they have the parts on the way from Eheim.
Great Job guys and thanks for the awesome customer support!!! We're really lucky to have such great vendors supplying our hobby.
