Premium Snowflake Pair

Very True deangelr--these have a deep red orange color along with more vivid black outlines delineating the edges of the fins and the white/orange transition--all due to their parentage (Fancy ocellaris x snowflake) thus their designation as "Fancy Snows" rather than regular snowflakes--of course what some call "extreme" or "premium" (as in the lower fish from the photo above) also occurs in this variety--IMO these would be graded as "standard" Fancy Snows (the breeder grades them that way anyway ;) )

Matt

Got it.. different lineages so different descriptors. It can certainly be said that that these "fancy snows" are more appealing than some other variant; premium, centurion, domino, etc.. Nice job (Its saturday night )

Absolutely amazing. Where did you pick these up from. Some of the most beautiful clowns I've ever seen. Great pick! :)

I was thinking FJW then I thought maybe you had got them form eith City Pets since he is always getting unusal clown fish in. I got my True Percs from Dennis "FJW" and they are something else. I can practically scop them up in my hand evrytime I put the Nori sheet on the clip in the tank they just tear it up.

You got yourself a pretty pair.

love the patterns on the clowns. They look great and I am sure will get better with age and care.

Congratulations.

Thanks!! Got them at my LFS, FJW in Houston. The owner Dennis has what you might call a clown fetish... Hahaha :lolspin:

Kind of remind me of the lightning maroons.

I had to google them, but daaaang those are sweet!!

Donnie gets some pretty cool clown in, but typically not the high-end stuff.

And yeah, clowns are crazy like that, even when I have seen them in the wild on Philippine reefs you can just about scoop them up in your hand, they will swim right up to your face mask.

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment, I'm really happy with the find / purchase! :bounce3:

I want them! =). Wonder if I can talk the female into a larger tank so I can get a pair. Beautiful fish.

Thanks for the comment! Good luck on that convincing... ;)

By the way, I confirmed with my LFS today that these are Sustainable Aquatics fancy snows. I wasnt previously sure who the breeder was.
