pretty red thing

Hello All,
This is the best I could do at getting a picture of the red thing I have growing on one of my rocks. My husband gave me the rock for valentines day, but I didnt notice the growth starting til late april or early may. It is now about the size of a half dollar. It is red and has orange right around the tips of all of its edges.

I needed to know what anyone thought it was, as I am trying to move around some rock to get better water flow and am worried that I will disrupt it.

it is a rare heart "love" coral, it appears only on valentine's day

basically it means that you owe your husband several presents, preferably power tools (the more unnecessary the better) and cardinals tickets

What it funny is that when I told anyone else that I got three pieces of rock for Valentine's Day, they all thought I was crazy. To everyone here it seems perfectly normal.

But seriously, it is a coral not a sponge?

I have no idea what a scientist would call it, but as I described is what it really is

I believe it is a sponge. It's very nice one at that. Do not let the air ever hit it, not even for a second.
