pretty sure my fish is going to die =[

so i have a clown fish that is in an established tank for years. I've also had the fish for years and she has been the dominate one of the tank.

about a week or two ago she started acting funny, i thought she was having a swim bladder issue. was still eating but was acting like she couldn't stay right side up. slowly she seemed to be getting worse. it was like she was loosing her eye site. was missing the food when eating. and now its like she is completely blind. doesn't react to any movement or my fish net. only if you touch the fish does it react. eyes look slightly swollen but i don't think its marine pop eye.

now she seems to be loosing her color and looks nipped at. looks as if she is flaking or something? fins don't look so hot either. now she is like getting pushed around the tank with the water flow. hangs out in low flow places for easy resting. just saw that it was sucked up next to a power head and just sat there as if it was resting.

is my fish going to die like i think it probably is? no need to sugar coat anything. just shoot me straight. or is there anything can do besides wait??

its ok. it happens. just checking to make sure there isn't anything i can do. she hasn't eaten in about a week now. not to be looking past this fish yet but I'm pretty positive it is safe to get a new clown right? it should pair with my current one correct?

nope. nothing new to that tank in a very long time. have had the same corals and fish for a couple year. but she is in fish heaven now. literally just died. one of my snails got to her. but i took her out and flushed her.

really? my computer shows a picture i posted and my reply to question about any additions to the tank. oh well. well i guess the picture isn't working but doesn't really matter since the fish died already. but this was my reply for the question chris asked.

So sorry for your loss. I found your thread doing a search for blind. I think my Spot Breast Angel may be going through the same thing. Here is a link to the thread.

Last night after moving her to the HT I noticed that her eyes seemed as if they weren;t focusing and thinking of how easy I netted her for the move from DT to HT, I put the net in the water and could move it right next to her and she never seemed to notice. I am wondering if she has gone blind.
