Price average for a Teardrop

I know this is a very vague question due to size and coloration, but what's the average retail price for a 3-4" Teardrop Maxima?

I paid $50 dollars for mine it's right around 4".

You will find that NY has the most rediculous prices when it comes to livestock. Everyone else i talk to online from other states pay nearly half price of what we pay here.

Here is a pix of my 7" red and blue teardrop. It was priced at $300 plus, but it's coloration is awesome IMO.

trueblackpercula,
Not trying to H-Jack thread, but I have had some problems with my 7" Soloman Island Teardrop. It did very well for the 1st month or so, and then began to have problems. Barry (Clams Direct) says that he believes that these larger tear drops are more likely to have problems. Mine is hanging in there, and seems to be doing better. He (Barry) seems to favor the purchase of tear drops that are 3 1/2" to 4 " in size. It apppears that they are better suited to handle reefdom. Who am I to argue, his advice has helped to keep my clam going.....and he's had a lot more experience here than I.

I personally would only buy clams from Barry at clams direct. But I have seen them for $75 there but you need to cosider shipping. But its worth it:)

Heres my 6 inch Blue Tear Drop. I posted it on another thread awhile back. I paid around $300 total. It is doing very well.
