pro color or aquasun bulb?

It is time to replace all 14 of my T5 bulbs...

this is what I am thinking of going with this time

7 rows of 36 in bulbs side by side...

Blue Plus
75/25
Pro color OR Aquasun
Blue Plus
Aquablue special
Super actinic
Blue Plus

still working on the order of the bulbs but that is the general idea...

SO... would you go with the aquasun OR the Pro color??? I have seen many tanks with the pro color and they look awesome... but alot of people use the aquasun... so which one? And anyone have any other ideas??? I want a blue look with all colors POPPING!!!

thanks I have read and kept up with that thread... was just wondering if anyone could tell me about either of these bulbs specifically. Replacing 14 bulbs is not cheap and I want to do it right this time...

I've used both and I like the Procolor a little more than the Aquasun, but it's more of a personal preference for myself.

With the other bulbs you have, I would go with the AquaSun. I think you would benefit from having another "white" bulb, and it will provide some of the pinkish color that you'd get from the ProColor. If you do the ProColor in that slot, I'm afraid your overall color is going to skewed into the violet color range. You will only have one "white" bulb among the 7 - the aquablue.

with the high par of the blue plus, why do I need another "white" bulb? I like a more blue look.

You asked, just my recommendation. Sounds to me like you are dead set on the ProColor then. Post a tank pic when you get it set up so we can see how it turns out.
