prob w/Roscoe's Blue

It has an area that has gone totally white(tried to get pic, but not clear enough). Its a large frag/mini colony and the area is at its base, and is the size of a fingernail. This is the first prob I've had w/ an acro, should I frag off the healthy areas or wait for it to come back(my Po4 and nitrates have been too high lately due to neglecting to change filters in my Ro/di)?

not to be impatient, but this is my last day off at my house for a long time...could someone give me their best guess please

Not sure of your issue, but I have had a small colony of roscoes for over 2 years now, and on 3 occasions I have had to chop many areas of the coral due to stn, generally from the base up, recently I was on the verge of a decent size colony, only to have to cut some of the coral again due to the same issue. I would lean towards the PO4 being the culprit, in my cases when the stn occured, PO4 was significantly higher than normal. I would ensure great flow near the base, and to keep a watchful eye on the coral, this really upsets me as your issue is quite similair to mine, and I absolutely love the color of this coral when happy and healthy, perhaps it is one of those corals that does not do well in your tank, incidnetally mine as well...good luck, hope everything works out.
