Probe madness

So I got my Aquacontroller JR setup the other day. the Probes are sending all kinds of wacky readings...

First the PH probe reads 8.6 to 8.79. My Seachem ph test kit and API test kits both read 8.1 PH.

Second, the Temp probe reads 79.1, the "Big digital temp alert" thermometer I've been using for a year reads 80.1, and my Coral life digital thermomter reads 77.6.

Am I nuts? So much variance with different gear. Should I assume, that the more expensive gear from Neptune systems is more reliable? The PH probe and the thermometer are way off from my previous testing equipment.

Which would reading would you trust? My corals and fish are doing fine.

Thanks all.

Recalibrate your pH probe -- mine seems to match up perfectly with my Hanna meter. AC III temp probe is a little lower than any other reading, but I leave the probe in the sump and all other readings are done in the main tank so it is as I expect.

Thanks

I just received my calibration PH fluid. I'll do that today.

As for the temp probe...I'm at a loss. It's already setup to be + 0.7 degrees from it's factory default. I did this in order to match my old thermometer. 2 weeks later, my old thermometer now reads 1.0 degree higher than the ACJR.

Somethings not right.
