problem algea, please help

This algea is becoming a problem in my 24 gallon aquapod. It's growing in mainly two areas, on my xinia "sp?" and on one of my live rocks pieces. I have a skimmer "2r bakpak", Refugium, and three fish = small true perc, small tropical damsel, and a green clown goby. I do a 5 gallon water change every week, feed the fish maybe 1-2 times a week, have plenty of water flow. whats going on? I am all questions.

All I need to know is the type of algea if anyone knows for sure and whats the best way to get rid of it. Thanks!

Best thing to do is pull the rocks out and scrub them. that is hair Algae. In order to get read of it you need your nitrates at 0 and your phosphates. I had the same problem, pulled the rocks out scrubbed the hair algae of. I also went and got a phosban reactor and did a few 10% water changes along with running my skimmer to produce a more wet skimmate. This really helped problem is almost gone. If you let this go it will over take everything.

i took much more derastic measure to eliminate the threat of hair algae in my tank........ A DAMN CHISLE! ahhhhhhhahahahaha
oh yeah, and phosban and carbon, and going bare bottom,blah blah blah
