Problem Connecting Digital PAB

I have a Powerbar 6D-PAB that I'm having difficulties connecting my to Profilux 3. I connected via the PAB connector, conducted the Config PAB in the system menu, and set up the controls via the control software. However when I plug in the powerbar, I get a blinking power (green) light. What am I doing wrong?

you need to assign the device

go to system
PAB
assign device
you will see that a serial number will show up on the display with an unchecked box to the left of it

Press the right key to put an X in the box then press the enter button.

If you just press enter without an X it will still say ready but wont work
