I just bought the kit containing the 6000 and the 7091 controller, The 6000 fires up fine when connected to jus the driver, but does not work when attaced to the controller. The lights function and switch as though it were working, but there is NO flow out of the pump.

I connected everything while the power was off as the directions said.

Thanks,
Wes

The foodtimer button is stuck. Do you feel comfortable trying to get it unstuck or do you want to send it in?

Basically you just need to open the housing and make sure the button lines up with the hole, sometimes in transit they get pushed over slightly and they hang up on the cover. Just be sure your hands are dry.

I dont mind trying to open it as long as I dont void a warrany, but would all of the lights still function as if the pump was on if the button was stuck?

Thanks for the quick help, I really appreciate it!

Yes, all lights would function, the exception is the "pump on" LED would be off in foodtimer mode. It will not affect the warranty, just don't get it wet.

The "pump on" light does still function which is what seems strange to me, but if you think that it is a stuck button, I would much rather try to remedy it myself then send it in.

Hmm, OK then it isn't the foodtimer. Make sure the cable is firmly pushed in and the driver is at 100% power. If it isn't that we need to work out an exchange for you. I suspect that a wire is disconnected inside if the above doesn't work.

Just tried again to plug it in more firmly with no reuslts. The driver is at 100%.

I will PM you details about an exchange.

Thanks,
Wes
