Problem with 6100s

Hello,

I have four 6100s (one of them is the ooolllllddd brown kind). Two of them have all of a sudden stopped working like normal. I tried switching the control boxes, drivers, and impellars and the two good ones work with any combination and two bad ones don't work with any combination.

Pump 1. Black model, been in operation for roughly 4ish years (I think), been dropped a time or two, but suddenly started running at about 30% constantly and will lock and sound the alarm after about 10 minutes.

Pump 2. Brown model, been in operation since the begining of time, never dropped or treated rough, runs at full speed for about 20 minutes then locks up and sounds the alarm.

Both are cleaned with vinegar about every 4 months, just like the two good ones.

Anyone have any ideas? Is it possible to buy a replacement pump without the other parts?

I think the black one needs a new motor block based on what you describe, part 6100.015. The brown one I am not so sure, could be just a drive unit, it may be the motor. You are welcome to send them in or you could order a motor on tunze.com and test the two since we can be fairly positive on one it is definitely the motor.
