Problem with 7095 controller

Hello,

My controller will not start the pumps again once I use the feed mode. I must unplug the power source on the pumps to restart the pumps. I thought they were supposed to restart after 10-15 minutes after pushing the feed button.

On average the foodtimer runs about 8 minutes but it can range from 5-15 minutes

This issue could be caused by the pumps being dirty as well, at a lower power if there is calcium or debris built up the pump cannot restart. Resetting power likely brings them to full power for an instant so they start. I would first be sure the pumps are clean.

Another possibility is the button for the foodtimer is being pinched down. This can usually be solved by backing out the four screws in the back of the housing 1-2 turns. The front cover is essentially holding down the momentary switch underneath.
