Hi, everyone. Well I was using a Catalina 3000 circulation pump for my SeaStorm 350 Protein Skimmer. Since I bought the pump last January I was expecting it to last at least a couple of years.
To my surprise, I had to shut it off to service the skimmer a day ago and try to turn it on later with no response from the pump at all. I took it apart again and put it back together a couple of times with no success. When I try to spin the impeller it feels like there's something inside the motor that is stuck (probably magnets inside of it) because turning the impeller is really hard, like if it is stuck. Can somebody confirm my theory or have a solution to the problem. Thanks.
