It looks like a few of the heads/mouths are dying? And something growin on it? The feeding fans are still coming in and out tho. Any help would be great.
Those fans your seeing are from a barnacle most likely. (harmless) While they are there, the favia will probably never grow over those areas. You might see a little algae growth, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
