problem with LAN card!

I always connected to my profilux with my LAN card that I had hard wired to my router ALWAYS worked for about 10 months. Suddenly today cannot connect. Getting an error message cannot connect do you want to check the settings now. What happened HELP going away in one week wrong time for this to happen!!
