Problem with new fish

So it has been 24hrs since I have added my goby and he has been hanging out in the same spot ever since I added him. Is there something wrong with the fish??? I drip acclimated him as well as the 2 clowns, 2 shrimp, and the six line wrasse I added at the same time and all the others seem to be doing fine. I'm new to the hobby and my tank just got done cycling

should be ok, as long as he looks fine and is staying upright. What kind of goby is it?

Yellow Watchmen

If he's not breathing fast, lilting, twitching or acting weird, he's fine. Most any fish will take time to adjust. Yellow watchman are not superb active. They like to pick a spot and stick there. Mine hid under a rock for days before coming out.

As everyone has said, give him time to acclimate to his new surroundings. He should be ok.

How big is the tank? Adding four fish at once to a newly cycled tank seems risky to me. Watch to make sure you don't get an ammonia spike.

IMO watchmans do not move around much. Once they find a spot they like they tend to stay pretty close. Good luck just my 2 cents.

My tank is a 75 gallon, before I added them I only had six hermit crabs and one blue damsel in there

Damsels are also pretty aggresive fish. Make sure to keep an eye on it.
