so i had a bta shipped to me priority mail overnight, and when it arrived it looks like it has expelled its stomach, like its pretty gross theres all this nasty fleshy mush coming out of the mouth and it doesnt look to good...
it looked really bad when i got it but i decided to acclimate it and put it in the tank anyways, its been in the tank about 2 hours now and it seems like its starting to come around, its moving slightly and the mushy fleshy junk is starting to receed i think but i just wanted to make sure its not a lost cause, any info suggestions, think it will come around?

BTAs are amazingly tough. Getting it into the tank was the best thing you could do for it. Watch the powerhead intakes and overflows - as soon as it feels even marginally better it will probably start to wander.

bleh he seems to be getting worse, hes kinda trying to crawl around but he seems really weak, and the whole mouth/foot has kinda collapsed around that expelled mush, im not holdin my breath on this guy kinda sucks...

don't pull it out until it actually starts to disintegrate...up until that point there's still some hope. Pictures would help the experienced anemone keepers here point you along the right path :)

Best of luck!

hey sorry to not respond, thanks for all the info and the links however

unfortunately it definitely died, i left it in the tank over night, and the next day it was actually starting to burst open around the mouth and more stuff was kinda spilling out...i decided to take it out of the tank a few hours later when my cleaner shrimp started eating it :eek1:

on a brighter note the guy i got it from was nice and replaced it for me and i actually got a much nicer specimen, bright orange foot and beautiful white, almost mint green tentacles. lol of course with my luck he moved straight behind the rocks and is fully opened up and healthy....on the back side of my tank out of sight grr

*edit rereading this makes it sounds like my new guy is bleached but no worries he is healthy, the guy had him in his show tank for about 4 months and he had no problem gobbling up a silver side today
