I came home last night and the alarm was going off on my controller (I have 4 Streams) so I unplugged them one by one and found the 6201 was alarming. Thinking it was just dirty I took it apart and cleaned it. It looked very clean except for the intake grill which had a little algae on the ribs. I soaked it in vinegar anyway just to make sure. I reassembled it and the alarm still went off so I removed the impeller blade&cover and turned it on. It turns slowly at 100% and alarms/stops at 30% (that's how I have it set to run). I can't see any reason for it to run slow as it turns freely by hand. I checked the driver box and it was so hot I couldn't hold it in my hand. Please help.
