problematic ricordia yuma

I purchased a hot pick ricodia yuma approximately a month ago and while still looking very healthy it has detached itself from its rock. I figured at first it was wanting to move so I didn't think it was anything to worry about, but now its been about a week and a half and it still hasn't attached itself to any kind of rock. I'm starting to worry that it is going to drift into something and get stung by another coral. I have never had a mushroom detach so I'm not sure quite what to do if there is anything I can do? Any help is appriciated...

Pat, you can place a few small pieces of rubble rock in a small bowl or plastic cup, put the ric in with them, then get a hair net or some bridal veil to put over the top. This will give the ric a place to attach without the risk of loosing it and still provide enough water flow so you don't loose it.
