i agree w/ nauti. find a fly fishing shop that sees tiny barbless scud hooks bait it with a piece of froz plankton/krill. i ve used this many times one time when catch

Maybe YOU should practice what you preach. The irony is that you don't. Instead, you are a self righteous 3rd party that is trying to create a problem. Call the mods if you don't like what I have to say. Ignore my comments if you do not like what I have to say. Isn't that what you preach but don't practice? Don't troll for a fight and take cheap shots while acting like you stand on some higher moral ground. It is repulsive.

The reality is that you stepped in and defended an ignorant comment directed at the OP and made a veiled threat towards me at the same time. You have followed up by trying to tie this to MACNA. Good grief.

It has nothing to do with MACNA. It has to do with a person who made an fairly rude comment and another (you) who has nothing better to do than try his damnedest to stir up crap. Grow up Randall.

Perhaps at Macna you could give a ranting lecture about how to properly kill a fish with a speargun and how it is ok to do so if the fish is problematic or cheap. As for the rude comment I made, I dont even think it was rude. Maybe I am ethically or morally challenged.

You may want to take notice that YOU are the one ranting about the senseless killing of a fish, not I. I could care less what the guy does to his fish.

I took issue with your post. I took issue with Randall (as usual) trolling for a fight with me and doing so in a rather childish fashion.

The OP posted a question. You entered the thread and blindly posted a smartass response. It is VERY obvious that you did not read his post, or you did in fact read it and responded in an attempt to belittle the him anyway.

If that makes you feel better. I do have one question. Why do people like you and Randall feel that you can say anything you want without provocation, but claim that it is others who ruin threads by calling you on your remarks? It is amazingly convenient

You accuse my of ranting, yet you rant. You say you are ignoring but you post in a confrontational manner. You accuse me of bickering and nonsense but you are right in the middle of it. You claim that you ignore my posts, but you obviously do not. I take it your posts are fueled by your dislike for me? It must be amazingly convenient to be you.

Actually I have another question. I spent a hell of a lot of time here helping people and learning. Why is it that the few people that I do not get along with act almost exactly like you?

Just because you have a peanut gallery that thinks like you does not make it righteous.

You are completely ignorant, I have never killed a fish accidental or on purpose in YEARS of owning tanks (Except for the Chromis the damsel itself killed), the whole reason I would be willing to do that this time is because its a MEAN fish and it would allow me to pull dozens of other fish out of a smaller QT (which is still large by QT standards -- 72bow). I hate watching the fish in a tank w/o liverock, PVC pipe does not do them justice for hiding spots and feeling secure. But continue to pull stuff out of your behind and pretend like you know everything.

Dunshster, in the end you are likely going to have to remove the rock. I had a domino damsel that I starved for 2 weeks. It still would not allow itself to become trapped. Like others have learned, sometimes you just have to tear it all down.
