problems with agressive tangs

hi everyone, I just got a new blonde naso tang tonight. but I'm having problems because my yellow tang, and my sailfin tang are beating him up bad. all three of them are about the same size. right now i have the blonde naso seperated by himself on one side of the tank with a divider. does anyone have any sugestions? will they eventually get used to each other? oh the tank is 125g. thanks

should have read up some....i don't think you'll be able to make it work
...try taking yellow and sailfin out and rearranging the live rock, then reintroduce naso......(yellows are known for not letting ne fish in, especially other tangs

...if they still go at him, take him out and i'll pay you to ship him to me for $10 more than you spent

I find that most of the time the aggression will stop but your tank is really too small for all three.

Something I have done many times in the past to ease aggression towards a new fish is place a full length mirror in front of the tank. Your fish will usually try to fight themselves and leave the naso alone so it can acclimate.

3 tangs is too much for your size tank, but what has worked for me in the past is to remove the dominant fish and reintroduce it about a month later when the new fish has established itself, preferably with some "dither fish" introduced in the bully's absence. Re-arranging the rock works too.... but in some tanks that's just not feasible.

I agree with the others. It might get better for a little while, but ultimately the tank is too small for those three tangs. It's too small for either the naso or the sailfin alone.

I have a PBT that would beat up on a foxface...I have a black background. By cleaning a big patch on the black glass, the PBT would see his reflection and back off and swipe "himself" for a while..this did help.
