Excellent thread ! My question is very basic, if you go with Prodibio...Biodigest, bioptim, and reefboster. No other dosing is needed like Ca, Mg, iodine and strontium ?? And what about coral food ??

You still need to monitor and dose Ca, Alk and Mg. You can add iodine and strontium at your discretion.

I have been doing ProdiBio BioDigest and BioPtim for 6 weeks now, nitrates have dropped but they are still high between 5 and 10.. Do i need to wait longer??? Can it be my deep sand bed?

I have been wanting to vacuum some out on every water change but I don't want to cause other issues that will affect my SPS..

i have been using np pellets but i am battling cyano...

i just picked up the complete kit of prodibio...do i need to stop using the np pellets? any recommendations on what to do?

my nitrates are pretty much 0 and i have a low level phosphate that i am trying to remove with gfo also...

thoughts???

Is there a need to run a phosphate reactor while dosing prodibio? I cant really get an answer by reading the thread...... Seems like its a coin flip

like to know this as well. anyone?


edit... reading the thread more, i guess it IS a coin flip on people running gfo or not,
