Isn't this stuff just another bacteria-in-a-bottle bacteria, intended to help cycle a tank? If so, what "common diseases' can/does it prevent?

Did you went to reef builders to read the info??

Oh and by the way Prodibio is not "Just another bacteria-in-a-bottle bacteria" is a complete system for ULNS like Zeovit.

No, but this has been around a while. I don't think its anything more than another bacteria/cycle product. marine Depot sells it and their product description just lists bacteria and trace elements; depending on which product you select. Again, what disease is it supposed to prevent?

I love when people do this, comment on something they know nothing.

The title of your threads is "Prodibio cure for common disease". I know what Prodibio is and have read the product description--- it is a combination of bacteria and trace elements (depending on which Prodibio product you buy). . Here's a page from marine Depot, a RC sponsor. It tells me exactly what the stuff is. http://aquariumsupplies.marinedepot.com/search?asug=&w=Prodibio

This is the disease section of the forum; all I'm asking is what diseases its supposed to prevent. how can anyone comment on that claim without an answer to a simple question?

This is what i was talking about, info is on Reef Builders blog:

Found the web site. They don't list active ingredients. But, if they are claiming a reef-safe cure for "whitespots'' and velvet that worked; it would be a first and should be all over every SW web site. I have no experience with this particular product; but have seen many others make similar claims. Maybe this is the miracle cure everyone has been waiting for; then, maybe not. Knowing whats in the stiff would help.

That was the idea of the threat, i read the article but couldn't find any info on the net, they don;t even have anything about the products on the prodibio page, but they tend to update their page slowly.

Probably they are not reef-safe but if it's a easier method to deal with this diseases is still a step in the right direction.
