Profilux Breeze Question

I have a question about mounting the breeze. If it is mounted in the horizontal and parallel the water surface, can the fans be rotated back towards the vertical and perpendicular (or close) to the water surface?

Does that make sense? I'm getting a sump that will have a flange on top that will give the sump a horizontal edge to fasten the fans to instead of a vertical edge. I'd like to be able to adjust how the fans blow across the water.

For instance, if the Azoo fans are mounted to a vertical edge, they can only bend/rotate towards the water surface. They can't go past completely vertical, i.e. >90deg if water surface is deg.

If the answer is that I wouldn't be able to rotate it any more upwards from the water, any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

Hi

yes the fans can be rotated on the axle so they can face up or down across the horizontal plane.

Try not to have any fan too close to the water surface though and pointing down, salt creep kills fans.

Thanks for the quick reply as usual.

Just to confirm that we're saying the same thing, in the link below, the fans could be rotated back or forward, correct? It certainly looks that way.

Also, what "space" is between the mounting brackets? In other words, what is the maximum thickness that I'd be able to mount the fans on?

The fans would be 4" off of the water minimum. Hopefully that will help the fans out with any salt creep.

Thanks again!

sorry, been insanely snowed under, did not even get close to the office today (moving locations etc etc)

Will have it tomorrow!

Oh shoot sorry buddy, :(

The standard when both legs are parrallel to each other is about 3/4 of an inch but can be opened up further, but I would not go beyond an inch
