Greg,
Does the price come with the controller + 2 pumps? In other word, is it a "complete" package and there is nothing more to buy?

One thing I do not like Stand Alone profilux is it cannot dose slow late. The dosing rate is fixed as 1ml/sec. It is too fast to me.

the one pictured is the 4 pump model. the 2 pump would have the first 2 pumps on the left and plates covering the other two (nothing more to buy!). it is an all in one unit and you can upgrade to add the 2 additional pumps for about $105 each at a later time.

You may consider one of these as well.

Do you have dimensions on those balling vessels? All I could see on the website was their capacity of .86 gallons each.

what would the 4 modules version normally used for? for a cal, alk and mg dos, there is an extra one?

You could choose to dose anything you wanted really. Amino acids or something else. Some people may choose to only dose Calc & Alk and dose there Mag manually and use the other two for a automatic water change setup.
I'm sure there's other's that i'm missing.

If you didn't want the stand alone Profilux, the Drew's dosers with an RKL controller would be $488.96 compared to $562.99 for the stand alone Profilux doser. That's based on the Cherry corals price for the Profilux 4 pump model. It looks like a great pump set up.
