Profilux Probe Station

I have one of these and would like to plumb it such that the return to the sump is a few inches below the sump sides. I suspect doing that would require the arrangement to allow pressurizing but is that possible with this unit. It has a rubber gasket on the screw top but could the probe holder nuts prevent any leakage? I only have 2 probes to fill 2 of 4 holders. The other 2 are blocked off with plastic rods.

My only other choice is to rig something up within the sump but high enough to keep the probes out of the water even when the main pump is off. I'd rather not go this way simply because of the suspension mechanism I'd have to come up with. PVC would work but gives more crap to clean!

Hi

The units are designed for inline above water level at zero pressure, if you do it the way you wish to, everytime you remove a probe for maintenance you run the risk of flooding at best at worst you will be pressurizing the unit.

Keep the unit inline and above water level to avoid risks.

Hope that helps
