progression of the goni
here is the original rock i got from petco it had mushrooms on it
as you can see
i noticed it had some sort of polyps trying to grow out of it so i had to experiment
here it is a few weeks after i removed the shrooms
here is a close up of the polyps
now i know regular gonis are delicate, but this is the tuffest coral i have ever seen
just keep it away from shrooms or plates or probably any other coral it grew back under pc and no bulbs
has been under 400w metal halide
it will burn under super high light but anything less than 8" from bulb is to close
i am thinking of fragging this and i was wondering if anyone had experience with this coral or had a id on it other than encrusting gonipora
any way i hope you all like this
