then ich wiped out all my fish even tho every thing was QT for 6 weeks:hmm3:
feb 20 - added a SSB early jan as zeo was stripping my colours with the BB

then 1 week later after the neighbours below (live on top floor apartment) fumigated and the bugs thought my sump looked like a good water source

so bacl to square one and looking forward to restocking

What happened?

the poisoned bugs ran in the tank which then did the snowball effect....

it's not really their fault either just an unfortunate accident, i dont like my chances of getting $8k for my stock from anyone and then to prove they were actually the cause is another story.

Thanks Andrew, i have rescaped the tank and will be adding some test frags in 2-3 weeks, feels like i have done infinty water changes on it now, 25% every day for a week then 20% every 2nd day since, now will go back to weekly.:hmm3:

I use zeo so cant run ozone, and hopefully there is no next time.

I also run carbon 24/7, i was changing the carbon every 2nd day when this happened to no avail.
