If I were you, I would buy the acrylic risers that are long enough to cover the entire front.

They could still get sucked in up there.

Here's where I get mine. They should have a longer one for that PH.

Yeah, I would definitely cover the front more.

Normally I would be worried about this situation below, but I'm extremely confident after seeing one of my Nem's climb on top of mine. Just think if that happened. You want the front covered too.

I have screen on my down turned PVC 90's in my beananimal overflow box. One of the Mags got in the box one day. I just took him out.

No issues..
