Project Peacock

Hi Sitarangi. I've been asked to tell you that Mantishead, owner of stomatopod.com is willing to donate a peacock mantis to your project. You can contact him at sales@stomatopod.com for the details, and you are more than welcome to join the stomatopod.com forum and contact him through there if you want. There is also alot of great info there , as well as some of the best moderators ever (AKA me :D )

Also, we got our grubby mits on this tiny hitchhiker from a fellow aquarist. Hes probably a G. Viridis or a G. Affinis. Also, i'd like to thank Stomatopod.com for graciously donating a beautiful peacock for our project..... We'll have him in Janurary.

looks like your project is doing good so far. if you are getting that peacock in january then you may wwant to look into setting up a home for him. alot of people use a 90 degree piece of pvc pipe to make a little cave for them. they also love lots of rubble rock for them to move around and make a home out of. good luck with the rest. have you though about some form of protien skimmer? if you made the tank you could probably make yourself a protien skimmer as well! very simple to do and im sure there are alot of people on here that have made there own that would be willing to help you make t as cheap as possible.

My plan is to keep him in a critter keeper or something similar in the sump once I get the peacock. Hes alot of fun to watch and I really want to keep him around.
