Proper Cleaning Method for 6055

I see no instructions on how to take it apart. I realize the front sphere just pops off the rear sphere. Do you actually pull the shaft out of the motor or the propeller off the shaft? Can you just leave it all together and run the unit in vinegar or is this not recommended? I have not examined the unit's closely at all I just assembled them and put em in the tank.
I also have another question Roger. I am using 2 pumps with the single contoller utilizing the Y adaptor. When using the photo cell for the night operation will it slow both motors down and how long does it typically take to slow the motors once the light has gone out? (Will normal room lighting keep the pumps at high speed or is the photo cell that sensitive that normal light will not slow the units down? Does that make sense?)

The shaft does not come out, you just pull the propeller out and the disk just sits on the shaft concave end facing the propeller assembly. It is best to dissassemble it as the vinegar doesn't tend to penetrate all areas otherwise.
On a single controller with y adapter both pumps mirror each other, they will both do the same thing. Night mode is whatever the bottom speed knob is set to.
The SS disk is a new part and was not in the manual that was printed some months ago, it is basically a very tiny washer. The manual describes a nylon disk which is still present, this one sits on top of that, between the nylon disk and the prop magnet.
