Proper schedule 80 bulkheads for a 120?

Hi I have a 120g Aqueon im setting up. I wanted to go schedule 80 so I ordered a 1" sch 80 bulkhead from BRS. When I recieved it and tried installing it it would not fit? Any know the proper size bulkhead? I know the standard size is 1" but since sch 80 is thicker thats not it?

Generally the Sch80 versions need the next size up hole. So a 3/4" Sch80 will fit through the same hole as a 1" Sch40. Frankly, I think Sch80 is unnecessary, particularly if by using Sch80 you have to go down a pipe size.
