keep in mind this theory / proposal is only based on two attempts.
... recently i had to relandscape one of my tanks with a bta. it was in the same place for over a year. than after the change for the next few days it was constantly moving everywhere. finally i manually put it in the hole i want it to be than fed it a silverside and so far, after a day or so, it has not budged.
this is the second time ive done this with success. again maybe just pure luck? probably but this is something worth trying.
my theory is based on the idea that if the bta is feeding in that particular spot than it might give it a false sense of security in that area, that its where it will get food.
