I would like to know if the "midsize" Aqua Gadget Skimmer will fit this tank?

We touched base with Innovative Marine about this last week and they stated the AuqaGadget Nuvo SkimMate Nano Protein Skimmer Desktop is the version of their skimmer that fits inside the back chamber of the new Nuvo 24.

Will the turbo floater blue 500 fit in the nuvo 16 or 24?
I have a aquamedic yasha and am thinking about changing over to a nuvo.

This skimmer measures 3.1" x 6" and would be just a bit too large to fit into the back of the NUVO 16 and NUVO 24.
