protein skimmer with refugium or seperate

Which would you think would be better a refugium with the built in protein skimmer or a protein skimmer like a remora or? and a seperate HOB refugium?

You might not need either if you keep up on water changes and don't over feed the tank. How much live rock do you have? what do you plan on keeping, fish, corals. I have a 29 gallon Bio-Cube that I don't run any skimmer or refugium on. I would look at different filtration techniques before spending the money on skimmers and refugiums.

I plan on having 4-5 fish corals, and for live rock not for sure how much lbs. it goes up to almost the top of the tank.

4 to 5 fish in a 24 gallon could possibly be pushing it. What fish are you looking at getting?

2 clowns and firefish and maybe later down the road something else. I need to get something that gets rid of bristleworms so maybe a sixline wrasse instead of a firefish? Is thier anything else that would eat bristleworms and live in a nano?
