Protein skimmers in Middle Tennessee

I am in need of a good skimmer for my 12G Nano. I would like something that could be used for this tank and my next. Any suggestions? Is there any place in Middle Tennessee to purchase one? All the stores that I frequent tell me to go to the web and get one. I hate buying online, I would rather keep the economy up locally. Any help would be appreciated.

i keep hearing that the aqua c remora is pretty good...but i hear its pricey too

If you go to nano-reef.com there is a skimmer someone built that fits into one of the compartments in the Cube. If you can't find it, let me know here and I'll look for it again. I have an empty Cube that I'm going to be building when I get out of this sandbox...

Its gonna depen on what size tank your moving to next. If its the 125 you have listed then your not really gonna find one that will work for both. If it was me id go skimerless on the 12g like most of us nano reef keepers do and worry about getting a good skimmer for the 125. as far as getting one here in middle tn id say your not gonna find anything that great that wont be double the cost then what you would pay online if you even find anything thats considered good. you will beable to buy something better for the same price as a cheap one in one of the local fish stores if you shop online. this is atleast from what ive seen in the local fish stores but you may find a good used skimmer that someone on the forum sells.

the skimmer aquaman is probably refering to is the sapphire which can be found here http://www.nanotuners.com/product_info.php?products_id=357
but like i had stated they arent needed to run a healthy nano and that skimmer will only work on a cube so when you upgrade your not gonna beable to use it on your next tank since its built specifically for the cube and its not strong enough for anything larger .
