Proud New Mantis keeper Meet "Neo"

I drove four and a half hours round trip to pick him up. He is a Neogondilactis wennere i think thats how it's spelled, hence the name Neo. Approximatly three inches in length. He is happily clicking away making his den suitable. He has eatten two small bluelegs so far. It has been a long search for one available in my area. Tank has been up for about four months with just an expendable clean up crew of nassarius snails and blue legs. I will post more pics as he allows me to take them.

Thanks, The pic dosn't do him justice the tank was clowdy and he was in the bag so it was the best opportunity to get a pic.

Others have stated how interesting they were to observe man is that an understatement.

Another thing he is loud i didn't expect to hear it from the other end of the house. Click....Click....Click....the blue legs and nassarius cower in fear....Click....Click :lol:

He is in a ten gallon. He is about three inches in length.

It's been awhile since i last posted here. Work has kept me prety busy and Neo has avoided me every time i try to get a pic. Hes been preaty busy himself i came home to a mess and he's still at it. Sand and rubble flying everywere along with the fury of clicks and pops coming from the tank. Sorry about the reflection from the 90 but you get the idea.

Ya it is. I keep killing it but it just keeps coming back it's the only one in there. It's not as big as it looks mabey an inch in heigth
