PRT II: A New Beginning

Wow folks! I am amazed at the number of people from the club and from the bank who keep asking me, "When is this going to happen? When is this reef tank thing going to start?" etc. My answer is always "soon". As in as soon as we can put it together. So, As soon as we get the glass box and the stand, we can put some sand and water in it and a fish or two and a simple light.

We'll take it slow at first b/c I want to do something really special with the light. Start it out as a FOWLR for a couple months to let it cycle and all while I build the light from hell. Then we can really get down to business. This is going to be way over the top compared to PRT I. Something we can all be WAY proud of!

Fasten your seatbelts, the ride is about to begin.

I have some hand made base rock that have been curing outside now for months. They are the ones I showed at the last meeting.
I would be Very Happy to donate them to the cause.

Well,
Apparently there is no need for my rocks for project Reef Tank II.
Would anyone be interested in a trade. I would like to trade for a 29 or 20 tall. I want to try my hand at Erectus Seahorses.

I have a large bucket ready and could make what ever you want. You will have to cure them yourself. I have found the best method is to put them in a bucket and set the bucket outside under a rain gutter to flush them for a few months.

I will NOT take money, I will trade only.

Re: PRT II: A New Beginning

Jason, I've tried reaching you by posting and by PM'ing with no answer. I can only move the tank/stand on the weekends so you need to let me know when.

Sorry guys. I've been slacking on the newsgroup here. I have been working on a side project that I need to get done for one of our members because I've had it for way too long.

Wayne, any rock you wish to donate would be great.

Lana, let's shoot for this upcoming weekend 4-29-2006. I suppose just moving it to my house is best b/c I'll have to pannel in the sides and make some doors for the front b4 we move it to PFCU.
