Pruning Grape Caulerpa.

I recently acquired some Chaetomorphia for my fuge. The fuge is full of Grape Caulerpa. I added the Caeto 10 days ago and it has almost doubled in size. Since I added the Caeto I've been pruning out the Grape Caulerpa almost daily to feed to my Tang. Should I simply pull it all out or continue to prune it till its gone? Will daily pruning increase the risk it will go sexual?

pruning or so i heard leaches toxins to the water. So be aware of the implications of pruning.

Also grape caluerpa without pruning will dominate your system if excess nutrients are present

Pruning is not the right word. I remove clumps of Caulerpa. I do try to avoid breaking it.
