hello reefcentral, i am new to this website this is my first thread :lolspin:
i joined because i really could use some help on my skimmer,odyssea ps 160, i know there are some people out there saying man u cheap ***@### just buy a good skimmer sorry guys i am a student at ucla and i cant afford one so this is my best shot. well anyways here it goes i have the skimmer in the tank as hang on the back style (hob) and every time i turn it on it will only function properly for 3 days max and then all the bubbles go away and the water level goes halfway in the reaction chamber.then if i take out the pump and turn it back on it works again then turns off by itself a couple days later. i made an attempt at a mesh mod but i ended up wrapping fishing line around the impeller blades i know there are posts on here about this topic but i can't contact the people in the forums could someone please help me.thank you guys.
