Psammocora sp. Lets see em!

Ah, I misinterpreted, then. I started seeing "Tyree" on stuff, so I guess I automatically began to assume it was a new 'craze.'

Where do you guys keep yours light wise in the tank??? I have a couple, but they don't look near as happy as yours all do... I might have to switch them to a different system... I currently have them in a BB mixed reef tank on the bottom about 18" under 250w MH's...

I love Psammocorras, they are one of my favorites
Ps. Profundacella....

Thats about where mine is under 250W DE bulbs. My form isn't light shy. Perhaps the others can chime in on where they have their encrusting forms.

Racenrich... WOW.. That's a huge colony!

Thanks bro...it's just about 4.5 yrs old!
Started as a small smooth patch, about 1in x 1in...it has grown up nicely!! Loves the current!

racenrich,

where do you have it placed in your tank regarding lighting? mine has slowly been getting a bit lighter in color and I wonder if I have it too far up.

Here is a tank shot....Furthest Left hand side of tank, 1/2 way up. Been in this spot for over 2yrs...LOTS OF FLOW!
