I've been looking into Pteragogus wrasses, specifically the cocktail wrasse, Pteragogus flagellifer. I was considering Pteragogus aurigarius but that specimen is gone from DD so boo to that idea.
My main question is whether or not they are protogynous hermaphrodites. The males are stunning, the females not as stunning. If they are indeed protogynous hermaphrodites that would be great but if not you're obviously taking a bit of a risk.
Does anyone have any experience with ANY of the Pteragogus wrasses or know of a good site with information because I'm coming up almost entirely blank.
