Pterois Lunulata?

Bad news, guys. I went back for him ( was gonna buy him and feed him and make him so fat and happy )...and he wasn't in the tank. I highly doubt someone bought him... My money is on that he died. Because, I went in every day to check, and every day he looked worse, and worse... His scales where loosing color...and he could barely sit upright...
Honestly, I doubt they even bothered to feed him at all while he was there, and I feel guilty for not buying him sooner.
I noticed the tag was still on the tank, the tag they take off and put on the bag when you take a critter home.
:(

Sorry to hear that steph, it's a real shame. Don't blame yourself though, the lfs should have taken better care of him. If he was declining anyways there's a could chance he was already doomed before he even got there

Thanks... The LFS's around here are terrible. I have a soft side for the misfits and ones that need a little help. Like I said, they just throw krill in the tank, and if the lions eat, then they eat, and if they don't...well then it's "out of their hands".

I posted this pic in the "Trig and Lions " thread, but I saved up money for this guy:

Someone got him before I could though.

Thanks, Jarrod.
I've actually been looking for him... apparently the guy that got him was tearing his tank down, cause I recognized the lion in his tank pic on craigslist. At the time, I couldn't have gotten it, but now if I see it I'd love to have it. I mean, a little extra care and helping him eat is worth it if keeps him alive :)

We were just offered a very sick volitans by a LFS (someone just dropped it off), but we turned it down. You did the right thing if the fish was ailing.
