Planning on visiting Puerto Rico in a couple of months and was wondering if I pick up some inverts (ricordia or other inverts) back on the plane, or are they restricted by customs?
I believe I can (over night) mail organisms back, since my friend has mailed me live seaweed in the past and since the bag was leaking, the postal service repacked it (inspected?) before I received it.
Also, there are sellers of ricordia in Puerto Rico on ebay, and they don't list any extra shipping fees or restrictions.
Anyway, I plan on visiting the shipper directly and bringing the corals/fish back with me as check-in to save on the shipping fee.
