Beautiful tank gman. Coming your way again tommorrow. After the work is done we are staying at the Copamarina and I hope to have time to go snorkling this time, any good restaurants in that area or La Paguera?

Grouper, the restaurant at the Copamarina is one of the best in the island. Also the restaurant at Villa Parguera is very good, this is their phone number 787-899-7777. Near La Parguera and Guanica where Copamarina is at, theres the little town of Boquerón there are good restaurants there, the specialty is seafood and puertorican cuisine, there's La Cascada Restaurant at Boquemar Inn 787-851-2158 http://www.prtc.net/~ppboquemar/
and Perichi's 800-435-7197 among others. There's also Pichi's Steakhouse and Seafood near Copamarina at about 20 mins. http://www.pichis.com/ 787-835-3335 and Pito's Seafood in Ponce at about 25 mins from Copamarina 787-841-4977 http://www.pitosseafoodrestaurant.com/
There's another Inn in La Parguera called Posada Por La Mar which has a good restaurant "La Pared" 787-899-4343

Also in Cabo Rojo where Boqueron is at, there's another Inn called Joyuda Beach Hotel, its restaurant is also very good, Palma Real Restaurant 787-851-5650.
Well, I hope you have a good time and enjoy your stay, Guanica is a great beach to snorkel, my favorite in fact, there are a few areas, there are 3 little islands near its coast called Gilligan's and Ballenas (whales) with beautiful reefs and there's a secluded beach called "Manglillito" very peaceful and nice for snorkling.
Have fun!

Wow, too many choices for 2 days......I am sitting in our room at Ponce Hilton and got suckered into the $ 9.95 a day internet service. Oh well, you only live once. I would like to visit a LFS, have some addresses too but I am worried about loosing too much time trying to find them, even though tonight for the first time we left the hotel and drove straight to Ponce square without getting lost and found our way home too....stopped for sodas at the gas station, 50 cent Pepsi and Mountain Dew bottles! I love this place.....

Just got back home, lovely trip once again. Unfortunately we had to forgo snorkling on the reef again, since my boyfriend HAD to see the Radio telescope and we took the scenic route through the country side. But we did go to Guiligan's Island this morning and snorkled there. Nothing as far as corals go, very similar to the shallows of the Keys, but we saw a lot of fish. I saw about a dozen tangs, powder blue with a yellow tail. Beautiful! Some angels, Beau gregory damsels, a lot of snappers and grunts, a few barracuda and and. We also saw anemones, that looked like carpets. They acted like carpets when we touched them. Next time I am heading straight for the reef!

Oh, and I forgot, we did the boat trip to the bioluminescent lagoon from La Parguera. Wow, very cool, I wanted to jump in and fill a bottle for my tank! Anyone ever done that????

LOL thats funny and cool! Yea that would be interesting, I wonder if the corals/clams/filter feeders would eat all that stuff though?
