Puffer tank or Reef Tank?

I am kind of hesitant on going to reef tank not sure how to attach corals etc. Would puffers be ok with a rock anemone? I would think a puffer tank would be easier.

Attaching corals is super easy.

Most come on a plug that can be wedged into a rock, others you can set in place and they will adhere themselves. Superglue works well also.

Puffer and nem you will be fine since I have done it for the last 2.5 year. You could do what I did and start with a swim tank then start a reef later on. I cut my teeth on the FOWLR (GHA, etc...) so when I started my reef I was more comfortable handling the situation. There was another learning curve dealing with Mg, Ca, and Alk however.

What kind of puffer? Except in very large systems, they can't be kept together. And a dogface and a porky both need atleast a 125, they get huge. Especially the porky.

if moving art is what you're after go with a reef tank.
as for a puffer tank... well i have little experience with what the end result would look like but i have seen adult puffers in my lfs and guess they would be a conversation piece lol. i'm sorry but i'm super bias :)

a good point, if I wasn't attached to my puffer I would probably find a home and go reef because nothing beats a well decorated reef! so in order to fill that void im setting up a separate reef... ;)
