puffers/angels and urchins

I read thru a few boards and have gone to some different sites to check compatibility and can't seem to get a definate answer - I have a french angel and a porcupine puffer moving into an established 125 mostly empty tank - all I have currently in the 125g is 2 purple tip urchins and one longspine urchin -

I am mostly worried about the puffer and his beak on the tips of the spines but I can't see them being tasty

If anyone has first hand knowledge of these animals together please let me know

Puffers & Urchins

I have a Porcupine Puffer and a newly added pencil urchin. I have heard rumors that Puffers find urchins very tasty, but every Porcupine Puffer I have ever owned has let the urchins, starfish and hermits alone. My Emperor Angel has not damaged any thing, but it is far more interested in the starfish and hermits than any other fish I have. Good luck

I know they are diffrent fish ..but my stars/stripes puffer would demolish an urchin in a matter of a few seconds.

iv got a porcupine puffer double star brittle star snails long spined urchins and hermits in my 125 and iv had no problem. i keep my puffer happily fed and he leaves everyone alone but its not a definate answer i may have been just lucky as far as angles i duno

My french angel is agressive as far as eating goes but I think the mouth type (being softer and not beaklike) would be hard to bite off the spines

The puffer was the one I will have to watch closely -
